The initial idea was actually very simple—we wanted to create a cake that's "familiar yet unforgettable." So, we began experimenting with different combinations until mochi entered the picture, and that's when things got truly exciting.

Why launch a mochi cake?

We've had countless customers asking if we offer mochi cakes, and our goal was to incorporate mochi in a way that harmonizes with the other ingredients, rather than letting it dominate. When brainstorming black sesame as a key element, we immediately knew mochi would be the perfect match! The first time we layered mochi into the cake, the texture was a delightful surprise—the fluffy cake meets soft, chewy mochi, paired with a crunchy cookie base, making it feel like you're savoring multiple desserts in one bite.
